Experience

Since 1982, while still a student, I have been preparing tax returns. My first tax season, I was preparing tax returns for my father’s tax business. That summer, I began work for a local CPA preparing tax returns for taxpayers, including farms, construction contractors, home builders, physician practices, marketing firms, and many other business types. Over the years since then, tax laws have changed, tax practices have changed, and clients have changed. However, the basic principle has not: taxpayers want to pay their fair share but not a dollar more.
